Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become emergency first-aiders in the
workplace or anyone who may be interested on a personal level. This qualification meets
the requirements for training emergency first-aiders in those organisations that have
identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first aid needs assessment.

Medication and infection control
Who is this course/qualification for?
This course is aimed at learners who work in social care settings who are required to develop their
own knowledge and understanding of the safe handling of medication. The infection control
element of the course is aimed at learners who work in social care settings who are required to
develop their own knowledge and understanding to strengthen personal application in practice and
encourage others that may be involved with an individual’s care to follow infection control

Who is this course/qualification for?
The objective of this qualification is to support a role in the workplace, specifically for learners in care roles where they are likely to be handling and administering medication. This qualification can be taken by learners preparing to enter employment or by those who are already in employment in a care role and wish to develop specialist knowledge in relation to medication handling and administration
